Ken Waterhouse Hcp

Ken Waterhouse (Managing Director/Founder)

When did you start working in the care sector?
In 1988 when I opened my first care home. I was 28 years old!

What do you find most rewarding about working in the care profession?
The lovely emails, calls and comments from clients, their families and team members. It makes all the hard work worthwhile to know your work efforts make a positive difference.

What do you enjoy outside of work?
Music is a big passion which means lots of live gigs and listening to music. There is a much longer list including travel, food, films, books, cycling, walking, squash, current affairs, comedy, nature and wildlife. Spending time with family and close friends. Never enough hours in the day.

What are four most important things in your life?
1)My three grown up kids (I hope this counts as one thing)
2)All my other loved ones
3)Good health
4)Operating a business that makes a real and positive difference
