We provide excellent, on-going training for all our team members. Training includes first aid, manual handling, personal care, food safety and hygiene, customer care, health & safety, as well as more specialised training that will assist our team with care and support for people with conditions such as dementia and learning disabilities.

All of our team are employed directly by Home Care Preferred. We take great effort to match the right support assistant with each client. We look at the individual requirements of each person and match them to a team member who has the appropriate skills and the most suitable personality.

All our team are carefully vetted and subject to UK Enhanced DBS (Disclosure Barring Service)  checks.  This is a government database holding details of anyone with a criminal record. We also obtain at least two references before anyone starts working for Home  Care Preferred.
