Our story at Home Care Preferred in Devon

Home Care Preferred in Devon was set up in 2020 following Fadi Alhassan and Ching Apilado meeting the founder of the company, Ken Waterhouse.

Fadi is an accomplished businessman and chairs MIDWIL Trading Inc. who are a local specialist supplier and contractor that provides a diverse range of road products and services in Qatar. Fadi’s entrepreneurial achievements continue to bring inspiration to others.

An area that has always interested Fadi has been the care sector. As someone that has always been family centred, involvement with Home Care Preferred was an obvious choice.

Ching Apilado has worked with Fadi for many years. She also has a keen interest in the home care sector. With a family living in Devon she feels very much, part of the community.

With investment in place, Ken and the Home Care Preferred team proceeded to start the Devon branch and were very fortunate to recruit Nikki Barnes who was appointed as the registered care manager in Devon.

Despite the challenges of starting a business during the pandemic of 2020 the Home Care Preferred team in Devon, under Nikki’s excellent leadership, grew month by month. Importantly the feedback from team members, clients and their families could not be better.

This branch of Home Care Preferred is delighted to be serving communities in Devon & Cornwall.
